Sri Lanka have made five changes to their Test squad ahead of next month's tour of West Indies.

Warnapura last played in July when he hit 82 against Bangladesh.

Fast bowlers Dilhara Fernando and Chanaka Welegedara miss out, despite Welegedara's four wickets on Test debut against England in December.

Ishara Amarasinghe, who has impressed in the Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia, is called up for the first time, with spinner Rangana Herath and left-arm seamer Thilina Thushara earning recalls.

Sri Lanka will play two Tests in the Caribbean, with the first beginning in Guyana on March 22.

Sri Lanka squad: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Kumar Sangakkara (vice-captain), Michael Vandort, Malinda Warnapura, Thilan Samaraweera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chamara Silva, Prasanna Jayawardene, Muttiah Muralitharan, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Farveez Maharoof, Ishara Amarasinghe, Rangana Herath, Thilina Thushara.
