If you havent noticed the announcement truebluefan posted please note the following:

There is a newish "spambot" doing the rounds at the moment that is attacking vBulletin forums.

It attempts to log in by going through the entire list of members and then logging on with the same password as the username, if that fails it tries a password of "password".

Once the bot logs on, it sends spam messages via PM from the user it has attacked, it then moves on to log in as another user etc - it also changes your password so you cannot log in (and presumably so it can log on again in the future)

A bit of common sense with your password on this forum and any other vBuuletin forums that you use is all you need to prevent this attack.

So if your password is the same as your username or is simply 'Password', Change it NOW!
