Default How much did your bat cost ?

How much did your bat cost ?
I currently own a Slazenger that cost me around £35.
I bought it from Sportsworld in Newcastle, and it's a pretty good bat. It is a bit heavy but I got used to it after a while.
So How much did your bat cost? And if you can post a picture of it.

I will post a picture of my bat once my Camera gets fixed.

I never bought a bat. I only played outdoor cricket for one season and I was never sure what style of bat would suit me. I kept using other players bats or the kit bat.

I think it was around $120. It's a Grey Nichols Rapier.

Quite expensive, sounds like a good bat.

I have played in-door cricket and school cricket but never enough cricket to need to buy my own bat. Although my little brother is a gun on the cricket field mainly bowling but i thought id be generous one year come Christmas time and i bought him a $200 bat a Slazenger if memory serves correctly he's still using it but not for long he's getting taller.

I've got a Slazenger V-500 which cost about $200. The bat's about 8-9 years old now, but still in relativly good nick.

I've got a couple...
- a Gray-Nic 'Millennium'. Cost $300/320 or something like that.
- an original Duncan Fernley 'Magnum' (made in about 1986). I bought it off eBay about a year ago, for $30. Still a brilliant piece of willow!
- my personal favorite is an old indoor cricket bat (I think it's made of balsa or something?). It weighs half a ton & looks like it's got a lacquered finish. It looks, feels, & performs like a coffee table, so I had a mate make me some stickers with the 'Ikea' logo, which the bat now wears with pride. On the occasions that I actually take it out to the middle, I usually get some sniggering from the slips & the wicki. Several people have stated that they had no idea that Ikea actually made bats... & of course I tell them that they can pop into any Ikea & pick one up!
