Vettori focused on Tests
New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori insists he is focused on the forthcoming Test series against England.
Vettori flew to England on Wednesday, just hours after starring for the Delhi Daredevils in their Indian Premier League victory against Bangalore Chargers.
Brendon McCullum, Jacob Oram, Ross Taylor and Kyle Mills have also been playing in the IPL, but Vettori is in no doubt that all their priorities are with the Black Caps.
"It's a feat we haven't achieved that often, twice I think, so winning the Test series against England is incredibly important for us," Vettori told The Times.
"My commitment was always to New Zealand cricket and this Test series. I want to win it and I'll put everything else aside for that.
"Our priorities are with New Zealand but, hopefully, there's that window created for IPL that people talk about. Then we'll be able to give our full attention to both."
