I personally wouldn't put Haddin before Dhoni in regards to best wicketkeeper in the world. Haddin is a better batsman than Dhoni, but in keeping ability Dhoni is better.

To Haddin's credit, he hasn't had nearly as much time in international cricket as Dhoni. With that being said, I think Dhoni currently edges out Haddin overall.

No he dosen't! Haddin is way better. In keeping, you don't only look at how good at keeping they are, but how good at batting they are. Keepers are normally one of the teams best batsmen (Gilchrist, Healy, Snagakkara just to name a few), and play a big part in both tests and ODI's. And I've never seen Dhoni score 166 against a quality team like new zealand. Maybe against a smaller team that India always play like zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

Default M.S.Dhoni - Perfect all rounder

Yeah dude...

He has proved himself as a successful caption for India. He is a perfect allrounder with bat, gloves, ball and Crown of Captaincy . The only wicket-keeper who scored 183 runs not out in an inning.

Indian team learn the habit of winning under his captaincy. He is the one who lead India to the Twenty20 and became the second caption after Kapil Dev to bring the World cup for India.

Dhoni all the best...keep rocking...

I second Jizz on his comment. being an India we always think that our players are the best but once when we see on the broader level we come to know that there are players from other countries who at times perform better then our home land hero's

M.S.Dhoni had won the world cup for india, but unlike the other winning captains the indian team doesn't establishes itself as a proven winner in cricket?
Arjuna ranatunga's team had continued to be leaders till 2008 after winning in 2006. And steve waugh had made an impact that it lasted for more than six years after winning in 1999. So these teams are very good performers.
But india doesn't seem like winning even the small matches after their world cup win.
And about batting lets say cricket is a sport where sometimes batting and winning at moments is easy. And sometimes luck. I was once returning home and there was an IPL match going on. There was big roar of cheering crowd and was heard outside the stadium. So batting under such conditions is really very difficult. But somehow some cricketeers adapt to batting!
Most 60% of international cricketeers batsmen are stroke players and make their runs by playing into the gaps fielders. M.S.dhoni somehow has the ability of not very good defensive nor stroking shots. But lofting shots like roshan mahanama and ijaz ahmed used to play power hits. So luckily indian bowlers and batsmen team performances won them the world cup. But atleast they should show off as world cup winners if not winning by fluke!
Pakistan and south africa might had acted better as champions if they were winners! When did england had won a cricket world cup? Oh they might had won it earlier on some other day!
