The Indians have the Aussies on the back foot. I'd expect India to really give it to them on day 3, but Australia would not go down without a fight.
Australia still have Hussey/Watson in, with Haddin and Clark who can all bat still to come in. Not to mention Lee can belt and stroke the ball around a bit.
Mishra has been impressive for the Indians.

Australia have been dismissed in their 1st innings for 268.

Watson (78) and Lee (35) provided some vital rearguard batting for the Aussies. Mischra on debut took a memorable 5/71

India have no enforced the follow on, and now being their 2nd innings 201 runs ahead.

Stumps on Day 3:

The Indian's powered through the last 23 overs of the day. They treated it as if it were a One-Day match. India finished day 3 on 0/100

The opening partnership is obviously still in tact. Sehwag (53*) and Gambhir (46*) have given to the Australian's, in particular Mitchell Johnson whose bowling figures are currently 7 Overs 0/43 (6.14 RPO).

Expect the Indian's to come out on day 4 and really try and hammer the nail in the coffin of the Aussies.

India just crushed Australia.

The Aussies had pretty much no answer to the Indian bowling attack. Inexperience? Maybe. But credit to India, they gave Australia a thorough whopping. The 3rd test should be great.

Exactly right

India were always going to come out firing in their second innings, but the Australian bowlers did not capitalize on that by exploiting India's aggressive (by test standards) batting by forcing the mistake. It was not the Australia we are used to seeing.

Australia has gone through lots of changes recently no doubt its not the same team like it used to be. This is the time for India to defeat them 3-0

I agree, anything short of keeping Australia to 0 wins in this series will be disappointing for them. Undoubtedly Australia has gone through some major changes in their lineup, especially the recent suspension of Symonds. The sub-continent is the toughest place in world cricket to play in, and the Aussies more so inexperienced lineup are beginning to feel the pressure of playing there.
