The International Cricket Council (ICC) is made up of full members, associate members and affiliate members. There are ten full members, 35 associate members and 59 affiliate members. Full members are those recognised by the ICC to play Test cricket. Associate members are countries where cricket is firmly established but does not qualify as full members. Affiliate members are those nations where the game is played in accordance with the laws of cricket and can over the years become associate members and progress up the ladder.
