Default Shahid afridi

YouTube - Shahid Afridi : Fastest ODI Hundred
Hi, i again studied the batting of shahid afridi, and in his fastest hundred the shots he played are all unorthodox. And doesn't seem similar to pakistan batting styles like i.haq, i.ahmed, salim malik, younis khan, moin khan etc. Styles can be imitated, somewhat similar to right-handed syed anwar. I have to say that s.afridi looked very confident in his early days. Since the last decade, he doesn't seem to bat perfectly. Perhaps shahid afridi was a new batting technique batsman of afghan cricket. If he bats slow in test matches though poor in defence then it would be called afghan classic cricket like indian classic of mhd.azharudin. Then who is pakistan's classic batsman?

On 4th October 1996, One Day International (ODI) match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Gymkhana Club Ground in Nairobi announced the arrival of a big hitter of ball ever! Any Clue? Yes, you got it! He's Shahid Afridi, the man whom every bowler fears!

In that ODI cricket match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Shahid Afridi hit the fastest ODI century ever in cricket. He hit that century in just 37 balls! Surprisingly, that was the first innings of Afridi in ODI cricket! And it was his second match! Because, in the first match he did not get to bat!

On that day of the match, Shahid Afridi went to bat one down after Saleem Elahi was dismissed for 23 runs! Once on crease, he began to smash the ball all over the park! The visitors enjoyed him to watch! Of course, every one enjoys to watch a hitter like him!
