Default SL-RSA first Test, SSC

Great to see Prasanna Jayawardene involved in three dismissals already. I thought he would be an inadequate replacement for Sanga.

Also good to see that the so-called inexperienced bowlers like Farveez Mahrouf and Dilhara Fernando are doing nicely, thank you, despite fear mongers’ predictions that the pace attack would fall apart in the absence of Chaminda Vaas.

“South Africa is a very proud sporting nation. We don't give up so easily.” Thus spake Ashwell Prince yesterday. At 120/6, what would you say Prince?

He handed in his resignation to President Mahinda Rajapakse after Jeevan Kumaratunga, the sports minister, delayed naming a fresh interim committee to run the game in the country. Now we should see some action!
