Pakistan has fallen to Australia in the international women's cricket, and the Australian team says it is feeling confident as the series progresses.

Playing their World Cup game in the eastern state of New South Wales, the Southern Stars beat Pakistan by 107.

They will face tournament leaders England in their last Super Six match on Thursday

All-rounder Alex Blackwell says the Australian team knows it can beat England.

''We're very confident that we can do it and it's a good lead-in that we've had a lot of wins now,'' she said.

''We know the English team really. That's probably a difference with playing a team like Pakistan,

''I've never played them before. We know the English team. We've got very good plans for them.''
