Australia will go into this week's ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa, full of confidence that they can defend their title.
Ricky Ponting's men have been playing some good One Day cricket lately indeed they have just beaten England 6-1 in an ODI Series.
When Australia won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2006 it was the 1st time they had won the title in their history, on that occasion they managed tobeat the West Indies in the final.
This summer prior to the One Day series against England Australia have not had too many positives, they were knocked out of the World Twenty20 tournament in England, in June in the group stages after suffering comprehensive defeats against Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
Australia then lost the Ashes 2-1 for the 2nd time in 4 years.
One Day Cricket however is a totally different form of the game and Australia have a great chance at upsetting the Betting Oddsand retaining their title.
