Austrlia one the toss and elected to bat. This is Adam Gilchrist's farewell match in his home town of Perth. He's on fire so far.

Game 7 is on today in Adelaide. Brett Lee will be missing and Michael Clarke is very doubtful after being hit in the ribs the other day against Sri Lanka.

Clarke is lucky, he can spend more time in bed with his girlfirend Lara Bingle.

Game 8 - India Vs Sri Lanka at Adelaide.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Not off to a good start. Lost both openers and the score is currently 2/15 after 8 overs. Slow going.

On a side note, this match is not being shown on the TV here, which is a first. Just because Australia is not involved they have gone with regular programming, not even a highlights show later this evening. Piss poor effort.

Rain has stopped play, and by looking at the current radar I'd safely say the game is over with Australia picking up the win under the D/L method.

Sri Lanka are 4/77 after 29 overs and if the match was to end now they would fall short by about 25 runs.

Sri Lanka have been a bit of a disappointment so far in this tri-series. Sanath Jayasuriya has really been terrible so far on this tour and last match he got out for a golden duck.

Hopefully India keep going how they are because they have been pushing Australia and I also hope that Yuvraj backs up the 70 odd he made in the last match because that sparks some real entertainment.

Nice to see you back. :)

It's been a pity we've had so many rain interuptions, which is weird for this time of year. Also these 3 teams aren't drawing the crowds at the moment. The attendence figures have been well down on previous years. Cricket Australia are going to scrap this current tri-series format and have a head to head series against a touring team. Hopefully they'll do that sooner than later.
