Australia to shift T20s from SCG
Australia has decided to shift from the Sydney Cricket Ground to the 80,000-seat former Olympic stadium from the 2011-2012 season.
All the Twenty20 internationals will be played at the former Olympic stadium, which has hosted international cricket since 1882.
The shift has been made to the 80,000-seat stadium, which was the main venue for the 2000 Olympics, for attracting larger crowds.
The SCG has a capacity of only 46,000.
The games at the Olympic stadium could include Australia vs. India in 2011-2012, Australia vs. South Africa in 2012-2013, Australia vs. England in 2013-2014 and Australia vs. India in 2014-2015.
