Tim Paine scored his maiden International Century as Australiaonce again cruised to victory against England, in the Natwest ODI series to take a 6-0 lead in the series.
Paine, who is regarded as one of the most promising batsman in International Cricket and his innings of 111 from 148 balls enabled Australia to post a formidable total of 296 from their 50 overs.
England never looked like chasing down their target and two brilliant run outs from Australia's captain Ricky Ponting broke the back of England's innings.
Both teams now travel to Durham for the 7th and final ODI and Australia have every chance of making it 7-0 in this series.
this is a feat which has never yet been achieved in International Cricket.
After Sunday's match both teams will head to South Africa for the Champions Trophy, and on this form Australia have every chance of upsetting the Betting Oddsand defending their title.
