Exciting start to the test in Perth

Australia are on the backfoot with Ntini and Steyn taking the early wickets of Hayden(12), Ponting and Hussey for ducks.

From an awful start, Australia have mounted an impressive 1st innings score of 375 (Katich 83, M Clarke 62, Ntini 4/72)

South Africa lost McKenzie early for 2. Smith and Amla are forming a decent partnership during the 2nd session on Day 2

In my opinion it's anyone's game. South Africa still have 7 wickets in hand, and De Villiers and Kallis are both capable of winning the game for the Protea's

Australia have the bonus of the home turf and being able to add extra pressure on the batsmen, which they are quite good at.

Tremendous win for South Africa, winning with time and wickets to spare. Such a huge chase of 414, very uplifting for the Protea's. Head into Melbourne as the favourites.
