Ian Bell scored the 9th Test Century of his career as Englandstretched their lead in the 2nd Test Match against South Africa at Durban.
South Africa had been bowled out for 343 in their 1st innings, which was believed to be a good total on a helpful wicket for the bowlers.
Alastair Cook however scored a century yesterday which was his 10th as England moved into a decent position and Bell's hundred today has now put the tourists firmly in command.
However with just one day remaining in the game after today England will be keen to gain as big a lead as possible to give themselves a chance of taking a 1-0 lead in the 5 match series.
South Africa were one wicket away from winning the 1st Test Match, but the Durham duo Graham Onions and Paul Collingwood held on to earn their side a draw.
South Africa will move to number 1 in the Test Match rankings should they win this series by a 2 game margin or better.
