The Indian women’s cricket team is all set and confident of a good performance, as they prepare to take on England in its first match in the Twenty-20 World Cup on June 11 at Lords.

“They provide the best staff for us. I hope we will use all this in a proper way and deliver good cricket at the World Cup. We all need to think together and play together as a team and work hard for the team,” captain Jhulan Goswami said.

The eight-team women’s ICC World Twenty20 tournament will run concurrently as the men’s tournament.

Every member of the team was hopeful of a good show as they interacted with the media a day before their departure to England.
