England cruised to a victory of an innings and 98 runs against South Africa at Durban. the home side resumed the day on 78-6 but it did not take the tourists long to clean up the tail as South Africa were bowled out for 133.
England just about clung on to secure a draw, in the 1st Test Match they were 9 wickets down but a last gasp partnership between Paul Collingwood and Graham Onions saw the tourists escape with a draw.
Andrew Strauss's men are now 1-0 up in the series with 3 matches still left to be played.
A very situation occured in the Ashes earlier this year, when England clung on for a draw with one wicket remaining in the 1st Test Match at Cardiff before they hit back to win game 2 at Lord's England went on to win that series 2-1 and as a result regain the Ashes.
