England have pulled off a huge shock to send hosts South Africaout of the ICC Champions Trophy. England had beaten Sri Lanka on Friday and this victory means that they are the 1st team through to the last 4.
England won the toss and elected to bat 1st and superb innings from Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood and Eoin Morgan enabled the visitors to post a formidable total of 323-8.
South Africa's captain Graeme Smith made a superb 141 but he was not given any support and South Africa finished on 301-7 as England sealed a 22 run victory.
South Africa are ranked number 1 in the world in One Day cricket and many people expected them to go all the way and win the title in front of their home fans.
England's results on the other hand come as a massive shock when one considers that just over a week ago they were beaten 6-1 in the NatWest ODI series by Australia.
Despite England's fine performances in the tournament so far it is hard to see them upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the title.
