Errol Alcott has made a typically quiet exit from the Australian set-up. He’s apparently taking charge of South Sydney rugby league club. A cricket writer once described him as the ‘world’s best body repair man’.

His replacement is Alex Kountouris. Can’t say I envy him – the team are not getting any younger.
