The 7th and final ODI between Australia and India in Mumbai was abandoned due to heavy rain, not a ball was bowled.
Australia have already won the series 4-2, Ricky Ponting's men have been playing some good one day cricket they beat England in the Natwest Series 6-1 and they went on to defend their ICC Champions Trophy title in South Africa last month when they beat New Zealand in the final.

Australia will now return home to take on the West Indies in a Test and ODI series, the West Indies have resolved their contractual despite and will be at full strength for that tour.

Shane Watson was named as man of the series, the all rounder was consistently brilliant with both bat and ball in this series.
Shaun Marsh was also brilliant in the series the left handed opener scored the 1st century of his ODI career in Hyderabad.

It is hard to see the West Indies defying the Oddsand winning in Australia.
