The West Indies cricket board have announced that Chris Gayle is to continue as skipper in all forms of the game, when the West Indies tour Australia later this month.

Gayle has not played International Cricket since this summer as the senior West Indies players went on strike following a dispute with the board.
The dispute has now been resolved however and Gayle will be at the helm once again. There had been talk that Daren Ganga, could be in line for the captaincy after the Trinidadian led his region to the final of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India last week, but Ganga has not even made the squad.

Despite losing the Ashes this summer Australia will come into the series with West Indies with a great deal of confidence that they will emerge victorious.
Australia are currently in India competing in a 7 match One Day International Series, and it is locked at 2 matches each.

If you are a Bettingperson, then you would do well to back Australia to win the Test Series against Australia.
