Gilchrist hails Hyderabad bowling
Hyderabad skipper Adam Gilchrist hailed his side's fighting 13-run victory over Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
Pragyan Ojha, RP Singh, Harmeet Singh and Ryan Harris claimed two wickets apiece while Andrew Symonds took one to defend their average total of 151.
Hyderabad won two points from the game and are still in the race for a semi-final berth.
Gilchrist said: "It was an incredible win. We felt we could defend 151. I was not disappointed to lose the toss as I wasn't comfortable chasing.
"The boys bowled well. Harmeet Singh was special and I am proud of him."
Bangalore captain Anil Kumble was unhappy with their performance and blamed the batsmen for the loss.
He said: "Dale Steyn (three wickets) bowled well upfront to restrict Deccan to 151. It was a very gettable total and I am very disappointed to lose the match.
"Rahul Dravid (49) gave us the start but in the end we fell apart."
