England fast bowler Stephen Harmison has been ruled out for the entire Test series against India after suffering a recurrence of a hernia injury.
Initial reports suggested he would only miss the first Test starting at Lord's on Thursday in which his place in England's 13-man squad was filled by Hampshire pace bowler Chris Tremlett.
However, confirmation that Durham quick Harmison would miss the entire series came after it emerged that he required a hernia operation.
The surgery is expected to sideline him for four to six weeks.
Poor Harmie. Ever since he bowled the ball to square leg in the First Ashes Test he's been a shadow of his former self.
Here's to a good speedy recovery.
