16th March 2012 will be remembered for one sole reason; as Sachin Tendulkar created history yet again, this time by achieving an even more impossible feat, by scoring his 100th ton in international cricket. His 100th 100 came against Bangladesh, in the Asia games at the Sher-e- Bangle ational stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Its like celebrating a feast at tendulkars' 100th birthday! I wonder how much time he had spent on the field. And could anyone after can put such effort and luck to achieve 50 hundreds in tests and 50 hundreds in ODIs. It would be a breakdown of health if someone tries to. Sachin then might sport in england and alamgir cricket memorabilia.
Sachin likes to appear on the television a lot of times. The main thing in his batting is his ability to connect the bat raised with any ball angled bowled at him. Funny that his height is just 4ft 10inch so he sees the low bounce deliveries correctly and takes half volley as short pitches.
Remembering sachin's batting....
Some of his famous strokes which nowdays he doesn't play...
1) Donald bradman slogger shot replica but placing feet away from the stumps. Left foot on the on side and swinging down to deep mid wicket.
2) Sri lanka batsman like leg side working shot with left leg raised played to square leg.
3) Offside square hit with left leg raised like a push shot.
4) Miscued straight drive shot falling short at extra cover.
5) The assurance of sachin to his other playing batsmen while chasing a target in stadium crowd noise.
6) And all other funny shots.

Funny that how come over the progressive years in professional cricket, many better foreigner players batsmen played and went away. But their methods and strokes somehow didn't become famous. But sachin's batting is appreciated worldwidely known. Other foreigner best batsmen such as graham gooch, steve waugh, gary kirsten to name a few! Or does cricket game has origin in india so it gets a fair domination!
Or cricket is infact a rare game and its not easy that everyone can play it. Sachin's bat, gloves were found in mohenjodaro excavations with dino eggs!
