Former England pace bowler Mstthew Hoggardhas been offered a 3 year contract by Leicestershire, Hoggard was released by Yorkshire last week having played county cricket for 15 years for his home county.

Hoggard reached number 4 in the world as a Test Match bowler a couple of years ago and was seen by many as England's most consistent bowler.
Arguably Hoggard's finest moment was in the Barbados Test Match against the West Indies back in 2004 when he took a hattrick.
Hoggard also played a key part for England when they won the Ashes back in 2005 it was the 1st time that England had won the Ashes in 16 years.
However after a poor performance in the 1st Test Match against New Zealand last year Hoggard was dropped by England and he has never played another Test Match since.
In September last year England opted not to offer Hoggard another contract.
It is hard to see Hoggard upsetting the Betting Oddsand getting back into the England team.
