Mahmood out of West Indies series

England bowler Sajid Mahmood has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks to undergo a double hernia operation.
It means he will be unavailable for the remaining two Tests against the West Indies and the one-day series, which he would probably have been part of.

Mahmood bowled 12 overs as Lancashire drew with Sussex at Hove on Saturday but will have surgery on Tuesday.

He appeared in six of nine World Cup matches, taking eight wickets, but has not played in the current Test series.
Quite a big loss for the West Indies, he is one of the main stars and without him they may see some losses.

 and your an england supporter. He could be a loss a big loss for england especially with them losing Flintoff as well.
He was treated rather poorly when he was part of the losing Ashes team. I can't remember exactly what it was but there was some unrest within the team.
I think even though they are doing well that they would be doing even better if they had him on the side. The bowling team in England is solid but why get rid of a good thing that could only improve the side?
