Who should open with Matthew Hayden when Australia play their next Test?

I say Hussey stick with a good thing in my opinion.

Chris Roger's should be given the opportunity to open with Hayden. He's been outstanding for the Warriors in recent times, and I'd much rather Hussey further down the order for some solidity (not that Australia really need it..).

I think Phil Jaques should open with Matty Hayden. Jaques is a mature batsmen who acumulates runs at a productive speed and has the ability to score multiple centuries.

Has the knowledge of a great batsmen, and can make some massive scores in a short time if ever needed.

I'm with you on Hussey. He's earned his chance.

Let Rodgers (or Jaques, or whoever) have a stint down the order, to acclimatise them to Test cricket.

And what about Hodge? Surely he's gotta be vying for a permanent berth?
