He may be Indian cricket’s next shining star, but it shouldn’t be forgotten that Manish Pandey won’t turn 20 till September. The first person he called after the stunning century against the Deccan Chargers at Centurion on 21 May was his mother. Echoes there of the legendary American diver, Greg Louganis, who once said, “Whether I win or whether I lose, my mom will still love me.” Ray Jennings, the coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore, says “Manny’s like a son to me”. Pandey’s father, an army man with roots in Uttarakhand always reminds him that “money will come” and that he should never play with rewards in mind.
Brilliant century and after than decent 48 runs is isn't bad and in 20/20 cricket. He is very powerful in offside and I have no doubt that he may be a future of Indian Cricket.
Lost of good young players coming through the IPL, it seems. I wonder if they can make the switch to longer forms of cricket without facing too many problems.
Maneesh pandey has been a very consistent batsman in all season. He has showed maturity and talent in his batting. It is very unfortunate that he never got an opportunity to play in the Indian eleven..
manish pandey is a good young talented player but right there are more young talented player in Indian team......but manish is good player
