New South Wales turned in a superb performance to beat Trinidad and Tobago by 41 and win the inaugrual Twenty20 Champions League tournament in India The Sydney based team, struggled with the bat but managed to post a respectable total of 159, they then bowled out Trinidad and Tobago for just 118 to seal the title.
Trinidad and Tobago stunned the cricket world last year when they won the Stanford regional Twenty20 tournament beating Jamaica in the final.
The West Indies have also been performing very well in Twenty20 Cricket indeed they reached the Semi Final of the World Twenty20 in England before losing to Sri Lanka in the summer.
Darren Ganga's captaincy impressed many in the tournament, Ganga also had some decent performances with the bat but it was not good enough to see his side to the title.
New South Wales will be delighted to have won the inaugural Champions League title.
It is hard to see Trinidad and Tobago upsetting the Odds and winning the title next year.
