Zimbabwe crumbled under the weight of Pakistan's record-breaking first innings, slipping to a 104-run defeat in the first one-day international in Karachi.
A target of 348 always looked like too much and, despite a strong start which saw the tourists reach 1-103 inside 18 overs, a middle-order collapse sealed their fate as they could only post 7-243.
Earlier, Pakistan debutant Nasir Jamshed was one of a ODI record five Pakistan batsmen to pass 50 as the hosts racked up 5-347.
Jamshed pilfered 61 runs from 48 balls including six fours and three sixes, while Younis Khan top scored with 79 and Misbah-ul-Haq fired a blistering unbeaten 56 off 38 balls.
