Former WA opener Chris Rogers has hit out at Cricket Australia for giving him the silent treatment - and says he is learning to ignore speculation about his Test prospects after being consistently overlooked in the past.

Rogers, who left the Warriors to link up with Victoria to try and improve his international prospects, is currently in England captaining Derbyshire in county cricket through another prolific season.

I see no reason why the ACB should contact Rodgers,what is special about him?he is just another opening batsman who is close to selection,does he expect a weekly report from them letting him know how is ranking is going?IMO there are 2 or 3 who are better than him at the moment and I would suggest to him to keep on playing well and improving and his turn will come.....Also it serves him right for defecting from one state to another just for his own selfish ego.
