I'd like to see Dhoni get the nod... however I feer that Ganguly will somehow wind up with the job (again). Personally, I can't see this being any good for Indian cricket, or world cricket.

I agree that Dhoni is the logical choice... he wasn't ready for the ODI captaincy, either, but he still go it

I just remember the news reports of the riots in India, when Ganguly was sacked form the captaincy, & I know that he's got a very strong supporter base!

Protesting? I know that I wasn't there, & that I only say news footage, but people burning effigies, going on strike, & overturning cars..? It looked an awful lot like rioting to me.

For the record: Personally, Ganguly's sacking didn't bother me one little bit.
I regard him as a poor sportsman, & I believe that world cricket would be better off without him. He's bad example to young players... irrespective of the whether or not he's a good batsman.
