Zimbabwe will try to translate the experience it gained on a recent tour to the West Indies by producing match-winning performances when it takes on Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Group B of the ICC World Twenty20 2010 in Guyana on 3 and 4 May, respectively. Zimbabwe lost the five-match ODI series 4-1 but most importantly it defeated the West Indies by 26 runs in a low-scoring T20I match in Trinidad on 28 February. This will give the Africans cause for optimism and they will also draw on the confidence when they recall their victory over Australia by one wicket in Cape Town in the inaugural tournament in South Africa 2007.
