Sachin Tendulkar scored the 43rd Test Century of his amazing career, as Indiaearned themselves a draw in the 1st Test Match against Sri Lanka at Ahmedabad.
Tendulkar is the leading run scorer in all forms of International cricket and he needed all of his experience to see India to safety.

India finished on 412-4 when both teams agreed on a draw.
Earlier in the day opener Gautam Gambhir scored 114 which was his 6th Test Century from his last 8 Test Matches.
Sri Lanka had dominated the majority of this Test Match, indeed they scored a huge total of 760-7 when they batted.
Their former captain Mahela Jayawardene scored his 6th Test double century as Sri Lanak took total command of proceedings.
The winner of this Test Series will move to number 1 in the ICC Test World Rankings.

India beat Australia 2-0 in a Test Series at home this time last year and they will go into the 2nd Test Match in Kanpur with a lot of confidence after their fightback here.
It would take a brave person to Betagainst India winning the series.
