The death toll from the Kerang train disaster in north-west Victoria has risen to 11, with police confirming another body has been found at the site.

Emergency workers discovered the body in the wreckage this afternoon. All bodies have now been taken from the train, which derailed after a collision with a semi-trailer at a level crossing on the Murray Valley Highway yesterday.
I wonder how long it will take to clear the wreckage and find out how many people have acctually died.

we've ahd a big news day here in Melbourne in the last 24 hours. The death toll is 11 and all people have been accounted for.
Also, fugitive Tony Mokbel was captured in Greece overnight. He was a drug runner who was released on bail and fled the country. His sister-in-law offered her house as the $1,000,000 bail and was jailed when he failed to reappear. She'll be hopeful of getting out now he's been caught.

It's terrible what happened. One of the inspectors compared it to the 2005 London underground bombings, which just shows how devestating the crash was. It's the worst rail disaster in Victoria in 64 years.

It'd be interested to see what the truck driver has to say about the incident as from what I've seen it won't be easy to gain much information considering most of the witnesses are either fighting for their life or diseased.
