Over night, the BCCI have announced that Anil Kumble will captain India's Test team.

Kumble's been a great soldier for Inida over the years, & thoroughly deserves this opportunituy... & thank F#%K it's not Ganguly!

bit surprised because of his age 36 not sure how many years he will be captain but he deseved it he has been a great server of indian cricket

It is a step backwards

I admire Kumble.

However appointing him as Captain at this juncture is a retrograde step.

i think he just a temporary captain as they think dhoni is still not ready and it may be to much pressure on him

I agree with Rising... I think Kumble is a 'care-taker' skipper. Soon as the BCCI feel that Dhoni's ready, it'll be his.
