The West Indieshave a very proud record in the ICC Champions Trophy, the men from the Caribbean won the title in 2004 when they beat hosts England in an epic final at the Oval.
2 years later the West Indies reached the finals of the event when it was held in India, that time around Brian Lara's men finished runners up to Australia.
Despite that superb run of form in the ICC Champions Trophy, West Indies have a tall order if they are to get out of their group in this years competition.
The West Indies are in a group also including India, Australia and Pakistan to make matters worse for the West Indies they are playing with a 2nd string squad following a dispute between the West Indies board and their players.
The West Indies face Pakistan later today, Pakistan have been playing some good one day cricket in recent times and the West Indies will have to play well if they are to upset the Odds and earn a victory.
