The contract row between the Senior West Indies players and the West Indies Cricket Board has been resolved.
The Senior West Indies players were unhappy about the fact that they had not been issued a contract for 5 series in a row.

As a result the players went on strike and the West Indies were forced to field a weakened team against Bangladesh as a result the men from the Caribbean lost both Test and ODI series.
The senior players then made themselves available for the ICC Champions Trophy but were not selected and the weakened team lost all 3 of their matches.
With this dispute resolved the West Indies will now be able to pick their strongest squad for their forthcoming tour of Australia.
The West Indies will be keen to show the Cricket world that they are once again a force to be reckoned with when they take on Ricky Ponting's men in Australia.
It is hard to see the West Indies upsetting the Betting Oddsand beating Australia.
