Pakistan's skipper Younis Khanhas said that he is happy to stay on as captain after the Pakistani Board asked him to reconsider his resignation.
Khan handed in his resignation last week as he was furious at claims that his team had thrown some matches in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.
Pakistan reached the Semi Finals where they were beaten by Daniel Vettori's New Zealand team.
Earlier this year Pakistan took the cricket world by storm when, they won the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in England.

On that occasion Khan's men beat tournament favourites South Africa in the Semi Finals before outclassing Sri Lanka in the title match.
Pakistan also enjoyed an epic victory over India in the group stages of the Champions Trophy.

Following Pakistan's victory in the Twenty20 world cup Khan retired from the shortest form of the game at International level with immediate effect.

If Pakistan find their best form then they have every chance of upsetting the Betting Odds and defending their title next year.
